1. Who we are
Tamekoshi is published by kumanaya, an independent developer (“we”). Questions about this policy: message @tamekoshi on X.
2. This website and the waitlist
- Waitlist. When you join, we store your email address, the time you joined and your consent to receive early-access and launch emails. We use it only to send those emails. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
- Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and waitlist sign-ups. Google receives standard request data such as your IP address, browser and the pages you view.
- Abuse protection. Waitlist requests pass through Vercel's bot protection, which checks the request to filter automated sign-ups.
- Hosting. The site is hosted on Vercel, and the waitlist is stored in a Supabase database. Both process ordinary request metadata to serve and secure the site.
3. The app
Companions, conversations, memory, meeting notes, skills and settings are stored on your computer. Credentials such as AI provider keys and app tokens are kept in your operating system's credential store (Keychain, Windows Credential Manager or the Linux Secret Service).
The app sends data to the services you choose to use:
- AI providers. Your messages, and any context you add to them (meeting notes, app results, files you drop on the notch), go to the AI provider you pick for each companion, under that provider's terms.
- Connected apps. When your companion uses Notion, Linear, GitHub or another connected app, the request and its arguments go to that app.
- Messaging channels. Messages you exchange through Telegram, Slack, iMessage, email or another channel pass through that service.
- The companion's computer and browser (Windows and Linux, optional). Setting one up downloads a Linux desktop image and packages. Screenshots and tool results from it are sent to the companion's AI provider when it works there.
- Sign-in for some apps. A few apps need a sign-in service we run. It handles only the data needed to complete that sign-in, and tokens are returned to your device.
The full, feature-by-feature description ships with the app.
4. Your choices
You can leave the waitlist or ask for your data to be deleted by contacting us. In the app, you can remove companions, conversations and memory, disconnect apps and channels, or delete the app and its data folder.
5. Changes
We'll publish updates to this policy on this page with a new date.
